Quicker Project Start

 

Starting a project in the CELUS Design Platform is now faster and more intuitive. From the moment you click Create Project button on the Welcome Screen, you are taken directly to the Template Selection page. This update helps engineers jump straight into designing.

You can now:

• Begin your project instantly.

• Choose a functional reference template that suits your needs.

• Land directly on the Design Canvas and start shaping your architecture.

The new flow is built to save time and help you get into your design faster.

Templates offer a guided way to kick off your design. These preconfigured examples include:

• Functional architecture

• Component-level structure

• A ready-to-edit starting point

After clicking Create Project, you’ll be presented with available templates. Pick one that closely matches your design goals, and you’ll be placed directly onto the Design Canvas with everything loaded.

Keep in mind:

• Template search is based on name only.

• Templates are not AI-recommended.

• There is no automatic matching, ranking, or filtering.

If you want full flexibility, starting from scratch is still available.

If you want full control from the beginning, you can still start a project from scratch. Simply skip template selection and begin with an empty canvas by clicking on Go to Canvas button. From here, add your own Functional Blocks and define your system architecture exactly as you want it.

Once your project is created, you can:

• Add Functional Blocks manually.

• Resolve your design to get CUBO suggestions.

• Customize the structure freely.

You remain in charge of your design from day one.

 

Copy a Featured Project

 

Click on Copy Project button on the Featured Project of your Choice

 

The Featured Projects section on the CELUS Design Platform Welcome Screen showcases a curated selection of high-quality, recommended projects. Each project represents a fully validated design reference that demonstrates best practices in architecture, configuration, and CUBO implementation.

Every Featured Project offers two interaction options: View Project and Copy Project.
When users select Copy Project button, the system creates a new project instance that inherits all the solutions, configurations, and functional structures from the original. This gives engineers a ready-to-use, pre-configured base that can be customized to fit their design intent, significantly reducing setup time and ensuring functional consistency.

Importantly, Locked CUBOs within a Featured Project remain unchanged when copied. These CUBOs preserve the validated configurations and parameters from the original project, maintaining design integrity and preventing accidental modification of verified content.
