What are Links?

In the CELUS Design Platform, links are pivotal connections between different Functional Blocks within a project's design, representing the various signals required for interconnecting these blocks, such as power supply lines, general-purpose input/output (GPIO) signals, communication interfaces and others. These links are not limited to mere data or signal flow; they encapsulate the diverse spectrum of electrical signalling needs within a framework, highlighting the platform's capability to support complex circuit designs through an intuitive and user-friendly interface.

Links connecting Functional Blocks

In the above example, Links are represented by the lines connecting various Functional Blocks — in this case, the USB Connector and Linear DC-DC Converter. Each Link illustrates the pathway through which electrical signals or power flow from one CUBO™ to another.

Functional Blocks interconnected by Link

On the left side, you can see that the USB Connector (Block 1) is connected to the Linear DC-DC Converter (Block 2), indicating that power is transmitted directly between these two components. On the right side demonstrates, the Supply is branched out to the Standard LED (Block 3).

These Links are crucial for defining the electrical and logical relationships between CUBOs and components within CUBOs, allowing designers to construct and visualize the complete circuit or system flow within the design environment of the CELUS Platform.
