Engineers' Corner - Share Your Stories

What's your biggest challenge when designing electronics?

At CELUS, we have been conducting lots of interviews with users around the globe to find out what they are struggling with the most. We all share the love for electronics and technology - and the frustration about many of the tedious, manual tasks involved in the process.

Depending on what people design and if they do it in their spare time or professionally, they report different issues, such as -

  • reading datasheets
  • having to rework designs when components become unavailable
  • schematic capturing errors that occur and are hard to locate and fix, or
  • simply the search on the internet for advice or reference designs to get you started.

Many people in our team have been there, too. These frustrations were shared by our founders and sparked the idea for the CELUS Design Platform. These pain points have also popped up in the careers of many of our colleagues - during engineering college, early career and across various roles. We have now started to write some of their anecdotes down and created a series of short showcases:

The Engineers' Corner

All stories are quick reads, sharing one or two projects' anecdotes and a little background information of the respective engineer. I think they are very encouraging and may help you learn from their experiences. OK, now's the time to meet some of our team members from our offices in Munich and Porto:

Share Your Stories!

We would like to continue with this series and are looking to add your stories, too. Inspire others by telling us about your frustrations and pain points. Simply comment below or fill out our contact form and I will get back to you with more details.

Of course, we would also like to invite you to jump on the CELUS Design Platform. We are just a few months away from our big release and will soon be going into beta phase. We think our platform will help you with your electronics design challenges and would love you to join our community to give it a try!
