The selection of Preferred or Excluded Parts & Manufacturers has direct implications on the prioritization of CUBOs listed in CUBO™ Result. Other parameters listed on this page do not influence the selection of Cubos. The additional fields present here are intended to clarify the project’s scope and requirements for documentation purposes only.
-
Project Specification: Project specification is the third tab of Project Settings. All fields to be filled here are optional.
-
Preferred Parts/Deprioritized Parts: You can add the Preferred parts that should be part of your project here whereas Parts that need to be deprioiritized from your project can be listed as Deprioritized Parts. CUBOs that do not match any preferred criteria are placed further down the list. You can add the Parts to the list either by typing or you can copy paste the part number in the search bar and select the part number. You can also remove the parts added to the list.
Parts added to Preferred and Excluded list - Preferred Manufacturers: CUBOs associated with preferred manufacturers are given precedence over those with preferred parts and rank higher on the list. Manufacturers listed here would be considered in the top priority list of CUBO™ Result. For more details on how CUBOs are prioritised, please check this page. You can either type or copy-paste the Manufacturer name in the search bar and select the part number.
Add the Manufacturer’s name to the Preferred list -
Deprioritized Manufacturers: CUBOs that include a deprioritized manufacturer or part are typically excluded from the list. However, if the project’s requirements are strict, it may lead to a limited number of CUBOs qualifying for the results. In such cases, CUBOs with a deprioritized manufacturer or part may appear at the bottom of the list.
