How are CUBOs prioritised in the CUBO™ Results?

The prioritization of CUBOs in search results is primarily guided by user-specified preferred and excluded manufacturers and parts. Currently, preferences are limited to these manufacturer criteria, and users should note that other factors like temperature or power budget do not influence CUBO selection. The additional fields present are intended to clarify the project's scope and requirements for documentation purposes, rather than affecting CUBO prioritization.

To qualify for the results, a CUBO™ must first meet the essential requirements for functionality, specifications, and port compatibility.

CUBOs associated with preferred manufacturers are given precedence over those with preferred parts and rank higher on the list. A CUBO™ that matches both a preferred manufacturer and part is given the highest priority and is naturally a default recommendation. In instances of multiple CUBOs that share this distinction, the top CUBO™ is chosen arbitrarily. This may result in different default recommendations during successive project resolutions.

CUBOs that do not match any preferred criteria are placed further down the list. A CUBO™ that includes an excluded manufacturer or part is typically omitted from the list. However, if the project’s requirements are stringent, it may result in limited number of CUBOs qualifying for the results. In such cases, CUBOs with excluded manufacturer or part might be included on the bottom of the list.

If no preferences are set in the project specifications, the CUBOs in the results are ordered randomly and their order may vary with successive project resolutions.  All CUBOs are clearly labelled to indicate whether they come from preferred or excluded categories.
