Meet CELUS at electronica 22: Learn How to Make your Components Shine
posted on September 29, 2022
The CELUS team is looking forward to exhibiting at electronica this year. For me it’s the first time to attend *any* electronics trade show, but many of my colleagues who have worked in the electronics industry for several years, are regulars.
Today, I have had a quick chat with Francesco Gambarotta, who is the point person on the CELUS sales team for all component manufacturers interested in licensing our technology.
Francesco, you have attended electronica previously. Can you share when and in what role?
I have attended electronica in 2018 when I worked for Molex, a component manufacturer. I was an account manager covering global companies in the space of home appliances and connected health. The show was a must-attend event for me and turned out to be an intense three days of product presentations, networking, and project discussions.
What is the key value you have realized from attending the event in the past?
As an exhibitor, I have enjoyed the creative atmosphere and learning about all the new ideas in the market. In particular during booth duties, It was great to talk and interact with engineers, tech lovers, and people passionate about electronics that would ask product questions and share their points of view on many different topics. It was a great learning opportunity for me personally.
Who are you hoping to meet at electronica this year and what do you plan to discuss with people?
During electronica 2022 I hope to meet many professionals from component manufacturers and discuss with them the digitalization of their content. I’m curious to know their point of view on delivering value to their customers using digital channels and how the CELUS Design Platform can support them.
There are so many benefits for component manufacturers and I cannot wait to discuss further collaboration opportunities!
Francesco, do you have any advice for first-time attendees of the show – like myself?
electronica is a huge, high-intensity meeting with lots of networking and walking around. You would need a very high energy level to go through the event successfully, my suggestion is to have a good breakfast and hit the fair with an empty backpack, so you can collect as many materials as possible.
Definitely bring a bottle for water, you will need it through the day. A big must-have – even in our digitalized world – are business cards! I find them neat for making quick notes on them for later follow up with interesting vendors I talk to.
For our customers and everyone interested in learning more, feel free to reach out to me ahead of time so I can give you a detailed demo even before the show. Then, during the event, we can focus on detail questions, if you like.
Also note: We do offer visitor vouchers, so if you would like to meet during electronica and haven't purchased a ticket yet, fill out this form and I will give you your voucher code!
