Building the future together

Since we believe in the power of joint forces, we are part of some substantial research projects.

More About the KIRESys Project

CELUS and the Institute for applied informatics (InfAI) are aiming to provide automated processing of reference designs for digital component modules. The learning algorithm is able to recognize and extract text, tables, and PCB-related information. On the CELUS product side, this information is put into the format of Cubos and saved in the database. The CELUS Supernova algorithm then searches for this information, to then fully automatically develop the schematic, Bill of Material, and PCB-Floorplanning. The collaborative project of CELUS and InfAI offers a lot of value to the electronics industry by providing 60 – 90% time saving, easy generation of variants due to automation, a low error rate, and accessibility to electronics development for non-experts.

More About the progressivKI Project

The mobility of the future is a topic that affects everyone. However, electric vehicles do not have a significant share within individual mobility yet. The motivation of the project is to make the complex process of developing electric systems for cars faster, cheaper and easier. Artificial intelligence is one way of achieving this in the overall electronics industry. progressivKI specifically aims to develop a general AI-based drafting process for electronic systems in cars. This pioneer work and exemplary collaboration between various top-notch companies allows a glance into the future of electronics engineering.

"The use of AI in the design process of electronic vehicle components will significantly increase efficiency. For example, pre-trained AI modules using simulation data can significantly reduce the effort that is required for reviews of circuit diagrams or layout data. progressivKI is based on a highly competent consortium of industry, research institutes and universities that covers the entire value chain for the design of electronic systems. During the three years of the project, I expect significant value from AI adding to the design process of electronic vehicle components."
