electronica: Three Tips for Making the Most of the Event

Meet our team member Rainer Assfalg, who has held various roles in the electronics industry and attended electronica plenty of times. He is sharing a few tips for planning your trade show visit.

Rainer, what’s your background in the electronics space?
I have worked in the electronics design automation industry for my entire career and collaborated with lots of manufacturers of electronics products. In the various roles I have held, I always found value in attending the major exhibitions for learning about new products, technologies and networking.

electronica is a key event to see new technology and groundbreaking innovations and I always found it valuable to attend.

Who are you hoping to meet there and what do you plan to discuss with people?
I am currently inviting a lot of people from my professional network to the show and I look forward to building new relationships with representatives from electronic companies. It’s always a pleasure to demo live and discuss the unique potential of the CELUS AI-powered engineering platform. Our technology offers a huge potential for shortening your hardware design cycles and increasing the efficiency of your development teams – always great to see this live rather than explain over the phone or a webcast.

Rainer, can you share 3 tips for first-time attendees of the show?

Happy to!

  1. Use public transportation! Our transport system in Munich is great and you can save lots of money and time by not going by car. Besides, you don't want to get stressed early in the day by traffic and parking.
  2. Preparation is everything for trade shows: Wear comfy shoes and clothes and stay hydrated so you are feeling good during the day. You will be doing a lot of walking and talking, so your wellbeing is the basis of a successful business event.
  3. Last but not least: Plan your trip so you have a solid idea of what you would like to get out of the event. Make an agenda of who to visit at their booths and who to meet. Leave enough time in between meetings to relax and just look around.

Please, also book an appointment with me and reach out if you would like to have a voucher for an electronica day ticket
