Meet Jonas Natzer, our DevOps Engineer. Jonas joined the team in March, but it feels a lot longer due to the great experiences and the valuable knowledge he brings into the company. Jonas focuses on managing and improving our software infrastructure. He automates processes to improve the speed of deployment and the quality of our software. I like…

to play around with ideas, the crazier and out of the ordinary, the better. It feels great to discover something new by trying out creative approaches. At the same time I really like to see things work and to understand the concept behind things.

I know…

that I don’t know much, and that things are constantly changing. It seems challenging to become an expert in any field in the current IT world due to all the rapid developments. Yet I don’t want to see this as a disadvantage, but rather as a motivation to constantly learn new things!

I couldn’t do without…

ongoing and fruitful discussions about the current situation and future steps in our projects with my friends and colleagues. These discussions are my daily driver, and no technical book or teaching course can better show me which direction to go, how to improve or what to learn more about.

And of course music. I can’t imagine any activity that wouldn’t benefit from the right soundtrack!

In my free time…

I enjoy meeting new people. An evening spent with friends in a bar or cooking together at home is an evening well spent.

There are new things to discover everywhere, especially when you travel. And if that is not possible or there is no time, work on some cool personal tech projects or build another mechanical keyboard!
